Suit targets NCAA athletes' likenesses in video games

Anyone catch the recent article in USA Today about a suit filed by Sam Keller (Former Arizona State and Nebraska Quarterback) against the NCAA and EA Sports? It asserts that the video games make illegal use of downloadable team rosters and hidden likenesses which the NCAA condones in violation of its own rules.

Why sue now?

It will be interesting to see how far this goes....does the player in his position in the game look THAT much like him? and to think most people would WANT to see themselves in a video game....lol. It also seems that new technology might be coming back to haunt EA Sports. (better graphics, etc.) Will EA have to go back to making all the players look the same again, like in the old days?

(ex. wrong height, weight, color etc.) then, we he plays the game with his friends, he WON'T be able to play as himself. lol.

its basically a way of agreeing/repeating something that you would have said, or have been saying.
