I am very happy. I was not a fan of my 50 Agility full back juking three tacklers on Heisman for a 75 yard TD run.

wide open gameplay or not, there needs to be some semblence of defense in this game

If was implemented right in 09 it wouldn't have to be taken out. I feel that 09 was a huge waste except for OD. So, now they are completely redoing the gameplay..again. Hopefully they get it right this year.

Don't take it out, just give defenses a chance to stop it. WOG shouldn't be a moniker for juggernaut offenses, if it's balanced right.

What exactly was WOG? I want to make a crack about it making speed the only attribute that mattered but this series was like that long before WOG.

it was the tag line that was giving to NCAA '09 gameplay changes that everyone blames for the poor gameplay. even though it was the same tag line for NCAA '04 gameplay, which a lot of people loved.

it's just something people can bash on, like Mascot mode. it's not like they changed the WOG value from 1 to 0 to turn it off. WOG was just the name given to the game to describe the gameplay. the problem was the gameplay itself.

It's Wiiiiiiiiiidddde open gameplay.

I might be in the minority here but I find the poll to be confusing. The thread is titled "How do you feel about the removal of Wide Open Game Play?" The question of the poll is "Wide Open Gameplay?" The possible answers are "Yes," "No," and "What is WOG?" I didn't vote because the poll isn't setup to clearly state what exactly is being asked. Dang, I wanted to vote too.
