Which old NCAA is the best?

Well, 2004 was the best for its time.

However, as to which game I play the most now on the old Xbox, it's in this order:

1.) NCAA 07 - Great game with the exception of momentum.
2.) NCAA 2005 - I don't care what people say; with sliders this game is pretty good.
3.) NCAA 2004 - This is a really good game and has some good gameplay (besides excessive dropped passes), but being a dynasty guy, the non-rotating schedules kill it for me.
4.) NCAA 06 - From overpowerful impact players to an extremely large amount of dropped passes that could not be fixed by sliders, this game just wasn't very good.

I've never played NCAA 08 or 2002, so I cannot comment on that. I played NCAA 2003 at a friend's house years back, but I honestly didn't play it enough to really get a feel for how good it was.

Despite lackluster graphics and animations, NCAA 1938 was the best, for one main reason:

No one complained about incorrect facemasks - the helmets were leather and didn't have facemasks.

NCAA 2000. Just so much fun.

then again, I was 9, and loved the cheat for running over the ref and getting a point.

NCAA Football '98 for the playstation was epic! First one we ever played.

04 was the best one. I liked 07 next.

2002 wasn't bad either, that was the first game I picked up and it hooked me into the series.

My fave and still reigning champ for my football-gaming needs is NCAA 06 (PS2).

NCAA 05, Home Field Advantage was awesome, the only bad thing was the amount of dropped passes.

Yeah, i still play 07 sometimes (PS2), it was pretty good.
