I liked '05- it was defense oriented and that's right down my alley. I had the PS2 version though, and it didn't have the dropped passes issue to the extent of the xbox version.

I had the Xbox version and I really don't see what the big deal was. Sure, out of the box, drops were big problems, but with sliders, they were earily fixed. Now for NCAA 2004 and 2006, sliders would not fix drops, and that really killed both games for me.

The main issue for NCAA 2005 for me is the outdated conferences since I usually play with West Virginia, who is in the Big East.

I liked NCAA football 2001. It was the last year you could do the custom NCAA playoff at the end of the year, very interesting and made it fun.

NCAA 06, and then 07 (Xbox).

I don't get why 04 was so great, I have it and it's nothing special. Although back then I was only 11-12 and cared more about winning 112-0 on freshman mode...

09 on PS2 is good.

I played the heck out of NCAA 03, 04 and 06. 05 was good but I seem to remember excessive holding penalties in that game.
