Well, it's more about fan bases... not just people who play our game. If you look at the competition we did for the cover of the Wii with the mascots last year (which was the biggest online pormotion ever for EA), I think UCF finished second. All it takes is for a rabid fan base to make a concerted effort to show their allegiance to the school.

It will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

Essentially it is like real life then. Compare it to the BCS.. points are arbitrarily assigned to teams as we are seeing with the start of SS, and this is only the trivia aspect.

Points aren't arbitrarly assigned at all. All the SS components before the regular season start will give you your preseason poll rankings. Looks like Georgia fans are seriously trying to win this.
