Total:

NCAA 09: 1,470,000

It is fairly obvious that a lot less people have bought NCAA football the past two years. In fact NCAA 09 sold 653,000 less copies than NCAA 07! That is a 44% decrease in sales!

You can say that people are lying and that they really will buy NCAA 10. But you are wrong. The great thing is how immature you were while you incorrectly called people liars.
I'm not seeing your point here. It seems to me that next gen sales have increased each year, while last gen sales have plummeted. That is no different than any other multi-platform franchise that I'm aware of.

His point is a basic math lesson. EA sold more copies/games of NCAA 07 than it did NCAA 09. (.56X = Y - X = NCAA 07 sales Y = NCAA 09 sales)

In fact, the numbers are far worse if you compare to NCAA 04 and NCAA 05 to NCAA 09.

The consumers have been speaking for years. They are saying loud and clear that the NCAA series is regressing not improving and fewer and fewer people each year will buy NCAA Football until EA actually makes a better product.

My point about last gen sales plummeting was lost on you, wasn't it?

The notion that the overall sales decline is the result of some sort gamer revolt is false. The general consensus in the NCAA community is that the NCAA 07-09 last gen versions have been superior to their next gen counterparts. In spite of this, the next gen versions have overwhelmingly outsold the last gen versions each of the last two years. If this disparity was truly the result of consumer dissatisfaction, surely the reverse would be true?

The truth is that annual console software sales have declined dramatically compared to 3 years ago. The reason for that is simple: last gen sales have nose-dived, and there simply aren't enough next gen console owners to take up the slack.

Not this year. I skipped last year as it blew and it looks like NCAA 10 is more of the same.

I understand what you're saying. The numbers given by that poster aren't enough evidence to show a decline.
