What happened to the left-stick "shimmy"?

Most of us have noticed that the left stick "shimmy" is not in the demo. Is this just a demo omission, or have the devs removed it for a reason?Man, 09 had a lot of problems, but I thought the left stick moves were pretty nice. The only over the top move I remember is the "double spin"--the rest didn't seem unrealistic to me. Anyone have any info on this?

Those moves were so gimmicky and cheezy. No way are they realistic.

Bull. You could say some of them are overpowered, but there is nothing gimmicky or "cheezy" about a ball carrier shimmy to fake out the defense. It's part of football.

Huh? What sport do you watch on Saturdays? Ever hear of Barry Sanders, Reggie Bush or Noel Devine?

Removing the left stick moves was a terrible decision. I think the majority of us here liked the left stick jukes and dekes.

The left stick moves were not implemented realistic. I watch every Redskins game and I play football in real life. I know agile backs shimmy, but in know way do they look like they do in EA's games.

Fine. So they could have tweaked it.

But I'd prefer to have a slightly wonky shimmy than nothing. The jukes and spins aren't totally realistic either and those are still in the game. The left stick jukes were perfect for scatbacks like Damion Fletcher. It's a crying shame EA took 'em out.
