Impact Blocking

I know they have the player lock feature in this years game now, but the thing im wondering is do they still have the impact blocking feature, like when you lock on to a o lineman and do a cut or pancake block.

Yes. Up on the right stick to pancake, down to chop block.

I chopped a WR with my LB during an INT return. It was beautiful.

I was talking about before the snap like if your calling a running play.

I think your talking about the lead blocker control maybe? Player lock will allow you to do the same but you cant switch to the rb once you are finished blocking.

Do you mean slide protection? Lead blocker control is gone, but purely in terms of blocking, player lock is better.

You just can't switch back to the ballcarrier, which is a bit of a bummer.
