Am I the only one who turns all commentary off within a few days of buying a sports game, no matter how good or bad it is? I want the feeling of being involved in a live game, not watching one on TV.

I agree, nobody needs to go. There just need to be more announcer teams. ESPN/ABC has Corso, Nessler, Herby, Brent Musberger, Bob Davie, Chris Fowler, Doug Floutie, Craig James, Jack Arute, Bob Griese, Paul Maguire, and many more announcers to choose from.
I think there should be three or four teams of announcers and who does your game depends on when it is. For example: Herby and Musberger call the Sat Night game; Flutie, James and Fowler call the Thurs. night games; Nessler, Griese, and Maguire call the Sat. Evening Games; and Fowler, Davie, and Arute call the Sat. afternoon games.
Corso will still be there but only for the Pre-Game, Post-Game and Halftime Show. Just Like it is in Real Life.

Agree with this and also restrict Corso to pre-game (maybe Kirk pre-game only too). The series needs ALL NEW commentary. They have been using the same audio for over 5 years with a couple new phrases each year. New people recording new dialog would make the presentation of the game so much better and less stale.

I'm all for dumping him. Whoever says he is college football is crazy. Only one man will ever have that title and his name is KEITH JACKSON.

I would love to see Musberger, but that'll never happen.

Id rather see some kind of pregame with him and Desmond and/or Jesse Palmer. DROPhim from the commentary.
