This along with the ability to have coaches do specific things for your team would add a ton of realism. Like having a couple of recruiting coaches would dictate how good your team is at recruiting (ala ch2k8). Also hiring a good offense coordinator would give your offense a boost in his area of expertise.

Yah, and in simulation games, when there is two teams that are pretty even, the team with the higher rated coach has the better chance of winning.

I don't think coaches' real names being in the game would cause any issue with the NCAA because they're paid employees, so their likenesses can be licensed.

However, if that doesn't happen, a realistic coaching carousel with generic coaches would be just as good.

If for some reason they can't put coaches names in...fine. I don't mind going through and putting the names in. I've learned almost all of them from doing it before and I can do it about an hour, if not a little less, but add some coordinators...give them 'tendencies' and experience ratings, and let us name them, and have coaches fired and retire. Surely this is not difficult. The coaching aspect of franchise has been virtually untouched for at least about 7 years. I would hope they spend a little more time on this and less time revamping road to glory that you can only play with busted rosters.

I would suspect that presentation and formation subs get all the love NEXT year. I haven't heard any developers talk about the role of coaches. And, would EA not have to buy the coaches license to put their names in the game? If so that would cost a chunk of money.
