I dont understand why there are so many game levels anyway? Whats the difference between Freshman and Varsity really?

First and foremost the developers need to understand what tgheir sliders do.

Last year they came right out and said that they haven't touched them in years and honesty don't know what they do anymore.

So this year the game ships with broken sliders.

How much time do you actually think they put into slider development? I would bet that the 2010 sliders got literally no attention and they are just an after thought.

I don't think I can handle another year of trying to tweak sliders to get this game where it needs to be. 1/2 the sliders last year had no or inverse effects. Placebo effects were running rampant last year and unfortunately until sliders are one of their "New" features, I doubt they will get the attention they deserve.

Totally agree with AA. More sliders and making them more powerful are what I want. Customization is a great thing and can help fix problems or perceived problems with the game.

Sliders? We're talking about sliders? EA doesn't care about sliders. It's obvious when two years in a row they messed this part of the game up. How can we expect them to add any of the things that have been mentioned into a "new" sliders type "package" when they can't even manage to get the same sliders we've had for about the last 10 years right?

Broken sliders at release is my biggest gripe w/ this series at the moment. Many other medium to major gameplay issues could be resolved w/ improved (or even just basically functioning) sliders.

2 straight years. Hahaha.

Does anybody know if the sliders in NCAA 10 will be fixed with the first patch? Or is that scheduled for the second patch?

Re: Slider Functionality and how it relates to Sim/Casual Gamer.

Great thread man. I was constantly tweeking the sliders on NCAA 09 because the games I played just didn't feel right. And I watched alot of CPU vs CPU where dumb AI decisions made me just wanna pull my hair out. (Can't watch more than two innings of baseball before I fire up the PS3 and watch a NCAA game). Anyway I would love to have a 2k like slider system on NCAA that would make the games closer to the real thing. Because if you set a slider to "0" such as interceptions, there shouldn't be ANY!
