What are you 12?

Who cares we all know you can get the game early. I worked at EBGames for a while and they won't have a trade in value until release day.

Also they usually keep early trade ins back to move new games for a week or so. Then put the used ones on the shelfs. Also at times they will not take trades for a while to protect against a bad games mass return.

As for your comment about selling them as new....why would they? Selling a used copy is pure profit. In reality the opposite of what you think would make them money.

royals fans are mad at everyone.

although i kind of agree that this whole thing is kind of lame. no one really cares that you got it early. that said, it'd still be worth a 2 minute video of guys at gamestop being jerks to you.

What does any of this have to do with ME SPECIFICALLY getting the game early.

Its a question I was wondering about, theres not an ounce of bragging or rubbing it in anybodys face in any of my posts.

You can bet your arse that if you traded it in they would repackage it and sell it for new - thats how they roll.

Re: What If Wanted to Trade it in to Gamestop?

If you were trading it towards Madden, you would get 40 bucks, and if not, then the value is still in the computer. They will not take it, but every game has a value set before the game comes out.

And no, that's not "how they roll." Ever hear of shrink in retail? How about excessive positive shrink? You move one used to new, you've made anywhere from 3 to 5 dollars of profit into the store...do that more than once and you've gone on a list. Your regional Loss Prevention manager will not be happy. Neither will the Regional Vice President, and certainly not his boss either. Get the drift? This site seems to be full of GameStop bashers...too bad none of them seem to be more enlightened than the average bashers.
