I've learned my lesson when it comes to these things. The early impressions are almost always good, for every game. It usually takes a week or two for people to start complaining about bugs and stuff, so I'm going to wait at least that long before I think about buying the game.

LOL at the 1st option in the poll... I just imagine people grabbing their keys and sprinting to the door, forgetting shoes & pants just to go get the game.

Some of the people posting impressions have gotten me to purchase the game. Some of them i just throw out to be honest. I like playing college football much more than pro normally and if the game bombs then I'll bite the bullet and trade it in for Madden 10.

I don't know about alot of you guys but i just do not work both football games in enough in one season. I tend to just play one alot more than the other.

So from a most likely not buying to a buying now.

Not planning on get it. Glad to see its being received well though.
Madden is what I'm waiting for. But that said my buddy and I had tons of fun with our OD so if he goes out and picks it up. I'll do the same.

But like have most said. If your on the fence you should wait till the end of July, by then all the bads come out. Early adopters are mostly the diehards that are gonna like the game or want to like it. You can get a better idea of the pro's and cons after the masses have disected it.

Also take advantage of any trade in deals. If you buy it for 60 and GameStop or somewhere else will give you 35 towards madden a 25 dollar 3 week or so rental isnt bad....usually how I look at it.

This was going to be a rent for me, but then the positive opinions from the trusted vets in the Impressions thread made me reconsider the game. I redownloaded the demo, and realized how much truly better the AI was, and how enjoyable the games really were.

First day buy for me.
