I've had limited success making this work for running backs -- I can usually get the backup to sub in for a few plays every game and then have the starter return. But I could do that with package substitutions already. It doesn't appear to work as well for other positions, at least not in the first half of games.

Over on the glitches thread, an EA Designer responded to one of my posts and said it sounds to him like a bug. He is passing it along so hopefully if it's an actual issue, the right people know about it.

Anyone else having any luck with Auto Subs sliders? Namely, can you get, say, a linebacker or defensive tackle to sub in for a play or two in the first quarter and then sub back out?

Re: Fix for Fatigue Issue..

see but here is the problem. let's say I set the sub out at 89 and the sub in at 90. Once he gets below 89, he gets out of the game, which is fine. BUT THAN HE NEVER COMES BACK IN. It doesn't take the ENTIRE second half to regain stamina back to 90. It IS a glitch in the game. I've had a game where I lost 2 WR'S and my starting HB.

Re: Fix for Fatigue Issue..

I agree something is not working right but if you will lower the stamina settings once you have lost a player he will come back. I was playing last night and had it set at 89/90 for a HB and he went out in the 2nd half and stayed out. On my third possession I lowered the HB stamina to 84/85 and he was back in as the #1 guy.

Re: Fix for Fatigue Issue..

i've always been a little fuzzy with this sub in/out stuff, but from reading this thread ive gather that say you are set up for 89/90 that when you RB stamina gets below 89 he comes out, and when he's rested and at 90 stamina again he comes back in? correct?

anyhow from the original post

Quote:
qb out/in 60-80
rb 79-80
wr 79-80
fb 79-80
ol 79-80
de 84-85
dt 84-85
lb 84-85
cb 79-80
s 80-81
since i play 8 min quarters, where would i want to go with this set of sliders?

Maybe need to go with 1st half / 2nd half settings as a work around.

Re: Fix for Fatigue Issue..

I don't want to make a big deal, but when did anyone confirm that progressive fatigue is in the game? I don't think thats the reasons players arent coming back in. It just looks to be an issue that once they sub out, they aren't triggered to come abck in.

If anyone from the EA dev team has talked about progressive fatigue, but all means let me know.
