How Does Lower Route Running get more Seperation?

I was stoked when I found out they updated the route running but even thats not all its cracked up to be

If you have a player with a high route running rating lets say 85+ and he runs and out route at the top of his route he breaks down and then cuts but the CB stays with him stride for stride making all out and in route catch highly contested

Take a player with a low route running rating lets say 60 and down and on his out and in routes instead of a breakdown cut he runs a speed out simply cutting on one foot foot and gaining all the seperation in the world from the defender
