well yeah, i'm going to have to deal with it but since this is a modified build of the madden 09 engine with all of the branching you would think that problems like players passing through players or balls passing through players would have been fixed since they put out a product once every year. i think its fair to expect the bugs from the last year to be fixed.

Good point man. I don't expect any game to be perfect. But as you said, I would hate to see that kind of thing happen when it cost me the game, and hate it just as much if I won the game that way!

I've played about 15 games, i don't really worry too much about animation issues, as long as they aren't too frequent. my biggest concern is having the game play out like a real football game, which this game does an excellent job of. i have had 2 occasions where one of my linebackers made 1 handed interceptions that would be really tough plays in real life, but maybe they threw lobs or my linebackers had a high hands rating

Sweet. I had a DT throw his fat hand up and deflect the ball to a DE for a interception. How many other games have you seen that in??

I've seen it in 2k8, although rarely.
