Re: bands, windsocks, and field goal nets

The new band "feature" is pretty horrible. You barely see the band formations, the announcers talk over the fight song, and the some of the songs/formations aren't even right.

Why not take the time it took to put in this worthless feature and add more fight songs that don't sound like they are being played by the local high school band? Why not start adding specific team songs instead of having the community do it? Why not get good specific chants instead of the tin can sounds we have now?

The Stanford band has never marched in formation. Ever.
Best post ive seen on here all day. I played my first game as Stanford today, almost threw up when i saw the band out there. I saved myself by saying "Its ok, the band is suspended again"

Pregame should be reserved for:

Team Entrances
Pregrame show with the announcers
Players warming up
Star breakdown
Predictions

The works

Also, some research needs to be done about what teams actually have field goal nets.. Maybe even sign Allstate as a sponsor to get the logo on the nets.. NCAA 11 has to be about realism.
I agree with that. UNC has one net in front of the scoreboard, but lets the balls fly into the student section at the other end. I'm expecting there to be field goal nets at both ends this year just because I doubt NCAA is capable of doing that much research. Hopefully it'll be in next year.

Co-sign. Thats one new feature that should've been downplayed, IMHO....
