Odd Story about when I picked up the game

I hope this isn't locked, because it's a funny and unbelievable story. Unbelievable as in "I can't believe the nerve of some people".

When I picked up my game at Gamestop today, a guy came in and said that he had the game preordered, but he found it cheaper somewhere else, so he wouldn't be buying it.

The Gamestop clerk said "That's understandable."

The customer then proceeded to ask the cashier if he could still have the code for the extra team slots.

I was dumbfounded and so was the clerk. He paused a little bit and said "Well...that's for the people who preordered the game."

The customer said "Well, I did preorder the game, technically".

The other clerk then said "yeah, but it's for people who actually buy the game"

It was a strange situation. Here was this man who looked to be my age or even older than me (I'm 41) asking such a ridiculous question. And what made it even funnier was how nice the cashiers were to him the entire time. I'm a real nice guy, but even I would have had to gently laugh and say "You have got to be kidding me."

Anyways, just wanted to share that odd litle story.

Yea, you gotta love this time of year. My favorite are those printed up 'early release vouchers' haha Someone seems to use those successfully every year

If my grandmother would have walked in there and pulled that stunt she would've left with some slots. I always send her to return stuff when I don't have a receipt, she's money. Nobody turns away an old lady. The employees eventually get tired of explaining the technicalities involved and give her a return so she'll leave.

Now that I actually look at that on paper, it seems wrong....but I don't think she minds.

haha thats hilarious....good strategy im gonna have to use that in the future
