The CPU takes a FG and lets the half end? WTF?

I kicked a FG and there was a holding penalty as the half expired. Instead of letting me kick the FG over the half just ended and the points were taken away from me. I didn't get a chance to retry the FG.

This was some BS. I was 10-0 and ranked 59th until this programming error cost me.

I would like to note that my opponent iced me when I attempted the kick and I was still iced when I kicked off to start the second half. WTF is that all about?

Happened to me too.

I know in the NFL there is the runoff rule where if there is an offensive penalty in the last minute there is a 10 second runoff or something along those lines.

When this happened to me I assumed there was a 10 second runoff rule and the half expired because of the offensive penalty.

Am I anywhere close on that?

The half can end on an offensive penalty in the NFL.

I guess its the same in NCAA.

Re: The CPU takes a FG and lets the half end? WTF?

Dang. I thought that was only in the NFL and I thought that rule only applied if the clock was running.

If that's the case, then why doesn't the CPU run off 10 seconds when I get a holding penalty with 46 seconds left? Why was I still iced when I kicked the ball off to start the second half?

Re: The CPU takes a FG and lets the half end? WTF?

The half can NOT end on an accepted live-ball penalty against either team. If the try was good, the defense would obviously want to accept the penalty to take the score off the board, but the half would be extended by one untimed down after the penalty was assessed.
