Fumbles

Man fumbles really seem to be killing me in certain games. last night online i had back to back games with at least 2 fumbles. the only two areas that i think need to be tweaked in patch #2 are fumbles on kickoffs and fumbles right after a catch need to be toned down around 30%

p.s. i have had several games with no fumbles at all, i really think the only two areas that need any tweaking at all for fumbles are the 2 i mentioned above

Re: Fumbles

They occur in bunches when your opponent is using the "Aggressive" style for his defense. If you use the cover-up button, that will help alleviate a lot of the fumbles though...plus it'll cause a facemasking penalty to be called more frequently.

Re: Fumbles

Make sure you go into your offensive strats and put the ball protection to the blue setting.. had 0 fumbles since i did that.

yeah but i don't think i should have to be on conservative to prevent n abnormally high amount of fumbles. i always hold RB when i make a catch in traffic and on kickoff returns when i get close to the defense. Also i think the protect the ball setting is for running backs, not wide receivers or kick returners

Theres multiple fumble games in real life, so I don't see a problem. More than likely the user your playing against is playing "aggressive" D.

I've tried playing aggressive D all the time and the penalties outweighed the turnovers. Now I only us aggressive D when I down or on the goal line.

My suggestion is to play "normal" (on offense) unless your up a lot and then tone it back to conservative. Also, take a look at your stats and see what your turnover ratio is compared to you opponents. You may be surprised.

Re: Fumbles

One thing I noticed about fumbles last night. I didn't' fumble one time. But, the guy using Wisconsin kept running his 1st string HB like basically every play. Consistently for like 6 or 7 yards a play. Of course he'd take a lot of hits. At about the 3rd quarter or so, he kept running him, without mixing things up. Needless to say he fumbled like 2x in the second half. Of course I was stripping and turned up stripping to aggressive. Yes I did get a couple face masks. But I liked it. A guy shouldn't be able to run every play with the same guy from the same formation using the same 3, 4, 5 holes all the time. People get tired and sloppy. So they fumble. NCAA seems to do this. I had a star receiver and I only threw to him heavy when I saw he was in the zone. I don't see many mistakes when guys are really hot in the game. Other than that it looks like you have to mix things up, otherwise the game just injures your guy for like 4 plays forcing you to chill on that whole run the same guy every play. I like it, LESS cheese.

Thumbs down Re: Fumbles

There are too many fumbles when on balanced offense.I don't want to leave it on conservative the whole game.If I'm on aggressive I understand but the balanced fumbles should be much lower even when facing aggressive defense.JMO
