Dear EA Devs:
I have been a loyal fan since the Bill Walsh Days on Sega Genenis, everytime this time of year would be a special event where I would be geared for hour upon hour marathons of what I considered the best football game out. Since moving to the current consoles I have been disappointed in the previous years, but I toughed it out and chalked it up to a learning curve and always kept telling myself "next year it will be better".
Well, here we are and I have to say I'm not mad, I'm just truly sad and disaapointed that such a storied franchise has truly fallen off. I won't be repetitive of all the glaring issues that are contained in this product, they have been talked about ad nauseum.
I will say this, it's time to rethink the gameplan, and rebuild.
I haven't played Madden 10, but it seems to me that they understood this last year and have at the very minimum committed to trying to recapture the excellence of that franchise in this year's product
Here is a link to a wikipedia page briefly describing the history of this franchise
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NCAA_Football_series
Now after reading that brief history, ask yourself "Are we living up to the legacy of this franchise." in this current generation of consoles.
