The purple diamonds mean that if you add him to your board, he'll place you in his top 10. The instant signing is completely different, the recruit adviser will tell you to talk to him because he'll sign. Without the adviser you'll just call a person and they'll instantly sign no pitches necessary.

Yeah, that's what I had. What other symbols are there - are there anymore different from last year's? Diamond, the padlock and what else?

I'm in the 8th season of my dynasty and haven't noticed the purple diamonds...where do they appear?

The diamonds can be very tricky. I noticed during one season that after I set up my recruiting board and scanned thru the 5 and 4 star guys not interested in me that a certain 5 star QB showed the diamond. I add him to my board and he's interested. Something happened and I ended up having to reload the dynasty before I had saved it. So I go back in to re-setup my recruiting board. When I look at the same 5 star QB, there's no diamond. I ended up having to re-add the guys I had before, then look at this QB. Then the diamond showed back up. Somehow the secret interest is dependent on what players or positions you're going after.
