I think they add the Mascot Game for the little kids that play the game. Sure, we as more mature gamers won't touch it but for a little kid who has the game it might be an option he will enjoy.

In the words of Michael Jackson "You are not alone" I've yet to see them either. And I'm dying too, but I heard some really great new things about this game that will definitely be much more than just a roster update.

That might be the case, but I say leave the Mario Brothers and Pokemon games for the kids. I take my sports games serious and don't care for the silly stuff like mascot games.

I think another reason they probably have the mascot games in there just because it's so easy to do. I mean, they already have the mascot models rendered for the when they're standing in the endzones during the games. They just take that model and use it for all the players and, voila, mascot games. As much as I dislike the mascot games , I don't think they're the reason we don't have this feature or that feature in the game.

same here - my GF loved it. She would play anyways but we had a blast with the mascot game. It was hilarious playing with bama watching the elephants run around with their trunks in the ground.

I just don't see what the fuss is about it. If you don't like it then don't play it. There is no reason to remove it from the game as there is plenty of space on the DVD.

If they did remove it, I would not lose any sleep - just don't encourage game companies to remove features. We see that enough already.

Yeah like you said, It won't bother me if they remove it, but it's kinda cool that my g/f will actually play a SPORTS game with me and not just stuff like Crash bandicoot and all that.
