Has anyone had any success using the RB as a passer for this? Even on the short passes to the QB or WR, I'm nervous about attempting them

You shouldnt have a problem if you use Carlos Brown.

The wildcat will be a perfect formation to have formation subs in. If I wanted my 4th string WR to be the "Wild Cat" because he has some throwing ability I will love to substitute him in that formation.

But I've had great success with the Wild Cat. Hopefully it's not TOO effective though, but it's too early to tell now. But if it is, I can see it getting abused online, a la the direct snap.
