And if he means 06-07, that's the year Florida beat tOSU for the Title and SC curb stomped UM in the Rose Bowl

Dude. You lost to Illinois the week after you beat Penn State. So that would have dropped you below them in the polls. Also like previous posters have said, Penn State isn't 2nd in the Big Ten, they are tied for 1st place with you since you guys share the same conference record, that's how it works in the Big Ten and that's how the polls work.

It's ok threadstarter, I had that happen with me. I am playing a dynasty with USC Gamecocks and we went 12-2 in my second year, only losing to Vanderbilt (who was ranked #8) and Clemson (6-6).

When the BCS bowls began, I was ranked #15 and won the SEC title...ended up playing Ohio State in the Sugar Bowl.

Georgia Tech had the same record but lost to an FCS team and Florida State in the ACC Championship..yet still went to the NC against Notre Dame.

Here's the solution:
Play the bowl games. Then, you take the winners of the Rose, Sugar, Orange and Fiesta bowls and have a four team play off for the National Championship. Thats only two extra weeks.

OR have an 8 team playoff. winners of round 1 go to Round 2, held at your nearest Bowl Location. Play from there.
