was trying to get on and sign up for xbox live so I could get some rosters N play some games BUT everytime I tried to get on n set it up it said cannot connect N wouldn't let me on, I have a perfectly good ethernet cord N a router that is brand new N works with the laptop ........anybody know the problem?

Maybe somebody could help you here, but I'm not an expert with the XBL Connection. I'd try www.xbox.com/support.

Try this.

- Turn off your 360 take the disk out of the tray
- Attach the cable and router to the 360
- Unplug the power on your router and then plug it back in
- Turn on the 360
- Sign in and it should work
