Running is easy but, I hate the key run it works, key pass doesn't, wtf is with that just hurts the guys like me who are run heavy.

Re: Can anyone run the ball?

Running is simple, even at default AA or Heisman.

Learn to lay off the turbo button and give your offensive line a second to make a block.

Re: Can anyone run the ball?

Pitches or tosses with a fast back are money in NCAA. So is the option if your QB is remotely fast.

I'm shredding defenses with my passing attack and they STILL come out in a 4-3 to stop the run. The CPU must hate Batch and Jeffers.

I think I need to start calling my own run plays. I always try to use the Corso plays, no matter how stupid they are, just to avoid going to money plays.

Re: Can anyone run the ball?

In my dynasty i'm using AA difficulty and 8 min. quarters and averaging around 120 yards a game rushing. Some of it is sliders, but mainly it's about play-calling in certain situations and just as important you have to be patient and wait for your blocks to get set up. About the worst thing you can do is use speed boost as soon as you get the ball. Be patient, wait for your lineman to set up the block and then go.

I've been using the QB choice options plays for my runs, obviously i always hand it off, but it seem to be ok. or you could try draws or come out in a passing play, then formation audible to a run.

in my OD with TTU, I don't run it that much(between 10-15 time, not counting sacks, more if I have to chew clock earlier with big lead), but Batch has a YPC around 6-7. usually get a 2-3 yard gains here and there, but somewhere in the game he usually bust one for 20+.

Re: Can anyone run the ball?

Corso is dumber this year than in the past. I mean he'll pick the same play three times in a row sometimes. Pick your own plays and you'll do better.
Getting away from Corso improves both your defense and offense.
