Anyone ever pulled this off?

Has anyone ever pulled a recruit after he has already gave a soft verbal to another school? I don't think I've ever seen it done in my dynasty and I really didn't know if it was possible.

Yeah it's very possible, just not that easy. I've done it just a few times. If their visit to your school happens while they're soft to the other school and the visit goes well you have a good chance of stealing them away. That's the only way I've done it. Just pitching things probably isn't effective enough.

I did it a couple of times last year but i havent done it this year. What about getting someone taken from you after they gave your school a soft verbal? I had this happen to me. It wasnt a big deal cause he was just a 2* center but i was pretty pissed they just took the guy.

It's alot easier to do if you've got a soft verbal that didn't commit during the season, then you can use your recruiting cheese (promises, new cars, women) to lure them away probably around half the time in my experience. In season has always been tougher for me though

The only way I've done it in-season is by spending a few hours on that certain recruit.

I didn't think it was possible, every time one of my prospects soft verbals to another school I remove him from my list.
