By Formation.

My *** if I'm gonna ask Corso, he'll probably have me kick on 1st down or run the same play over and over.

Re: How do you call your plays?

In years past I've always used by play type on offense, but now with the linked plays concept I've switched to calling by formation so that I can see what plays are linked.

By formation on Offense and Defense. If I can't get a defensive stop (AKA when the Robo QB comes out of hiding and is going 20-20 on me), I'll use Ask Corso on a few plays.

Mostly by formation but I may use by play type sometimes.

Re: How do you call your plays?

I go by play type this year.

I used to just pick plays that I liked from Ask Corso's random list, but Ask Corso only selects about 5 plays this year. Believe it or not, Ask Corso being broken really messed up the game for me. I used to enjoy simulating seasons and then playing in the big games for both teams. To ensure no bias in play calling, I would just pick the default Ask Corso play. Unfortunately, I can not do that this year because Ask Corso is now designed to only call setup plays. It's very frustrating and annoying.

Re: How do you call your plays?

I've used Ask Corso for years but have gotten to the point where I'm fed up with his selections and am back to choosing the plays myself. I like using the entire playbook rather than just the same 3-6 plays a game.
