Recruiting Assistance

I have searched the forums for an answer but have not found anything.

If I turn all recruiting assistance off (add to board, offer scholly, offer visit) will unused minutes still be used by the CPU? I don't want the CPU doing any of the 3 types of assistance listed above but would like the CPU to use my minutes based on my recruiting board order if I miss a week and the commish advances the week.

Thanks for your help.

Re: Recruiting Assistance

So if I leave all the settings to on all my minutes will be used if I just leave it ?

I've setup a board of players and put them in order but want the cpu to do everything else for me and use up all my minutes. Will this be done ?

Re: Recruiting Assistance

If you turn off all the CPU recruiting assistance, when you advance the week any unused time for that week will be lost. The cpu will not add anyone to your lists or do any other actions. This is how I recruit and toward the end of each season I go many times with a couple hours unused because I have signed most of my recruits. Not sure about where it is documented but I used this method last year and this year.

The recruiting has always been that way. It's the games way of putting the recruiting in full affect of your control. Even if that means you have a group of guys you don't want to contact that week.

Re: Recruiting Assistance

Just something in the recruiting I saw disturbed me, Ball state signed the #1 safety in the nation over Florida, OU, and USC. Now this is more messed up new territory in the recruiting engine for sure. What the heck??

Re: Recruiting Assistance

I think these guys are wrong. I believe your minutes DO get used by the CPU. They just won't schedule visits, offer scholarships, or adjust your board.
