Do you consider Season Showdown a legitmate feature or a gimmick

What is Season Showdown? Seriously?

I haven't even seen it in my game. I think it mentioned something about it when I first went into online dynasty but the servers crashed and I haven't seen it again.

What is it?
Where is it?
How do I play a Season Showdown?
Is it better than Mascot Mash Down?

Gimmick. I've gone to the Season Showdown "mode" once. I think it was like the second or third day I had the game. I just don't care who has the most supporters that play NCAA Football 10.

Season showdown is junk. I wish the programmers never wasted their time coding it. Really makes me question the focus of the development team.

Totally agree. Season Showdown and RTG are both a waste of time and complete GIMMICKS.

Take away Season Showdown and we may have gotten formation subs, correct offensive line play, custom playbooks, custom playbooks to take online, a play editor, better play books, correct defenses without as many AI cheats, better programming than the cheap game planning thing, correct rosters on shipment, correct dynasty progression...

Who are we kidding... we would have gotten another gimmick because they refuse to address the central game play issues or are not competent enough to know how to fix the issues.
