Re: Diamond in the rough

Yeah I ended up getting a recruit they added after the NC. He was number 1 recruit in the country, a DT. I ended up getting him but he was 6'4" 274 so I ended up moving him to the OLB(I run a 3-4 and he didnt project well as an end at 80 compared to 83 with decent speed for a OLB)... Right now he is a pass rushing monster with 80 speed now....

Anyways I had a 79 3 star WR and also a SS. I also think promises have to do with some overalls getting inflated.

When you are in "search prospect" or anything like that where the prospects are listed (just not on your recruiting board unfortunately) just move the cursor over to the right and its like the first column thats not on the page. You can even hit "x" (360) and it will sort the prospects by their 40 times. Useful tool.

Re: Diamond in the rough

Was short a QB after the first year of my dynasty but didn't really care since I run the option a lot. Wound up getting a walk on who was rated 82!!! No joke...

Re: Diamond in the rough

In my 6th year of offline dynasty with NCAA10, I was short on the full back position. I had several TE's though and a couple of them were buried deep on the chart, probably never making 1st string to play.

One them was a blocking TE rated ovr 75. During the offseason I changed his position to FB and it showed him as a 79 in that position.

The following season he turned out to be the most devastating blocker on my offense. He would open big holes for my power running game and on short yard carries, he would level defenders.

Re: Diamond in the rough

One thing I dont like is it seems no matter how the ATH is sized he always seems to be best fit for a WR. I do like how EA has corrected attribute ratings for position changes - I've also converted TE's to FB's and switched around certain linemen positions to fit my depth chart.

Not all athletes are best at WR. I find more that are good at CB than WR.
