Online Defensive Key Error

Has anyone experienced the following online error....?

When I was playing a guy online this afternoon (extreme cheeser btw -- going on 4th, going for 2, onside kicks etc.) I had trouble with Defensive Keys. When I was pressed L2 to bring up the Menu and then necessary receiver icon button, it would NOT SELECT THE RIGHT RECEIVER. O corresponded with X on the field etc... I left the game to test against the computer and everything worked fine.

Does anyone know if this is a cheat/hack or anything else? My controller works fine btw. Thanks.

Bump. I played another online game and everything worked fine. Just curious if this is some sort of hack/cheat.

I havent had that same problem but i have encountered a problem with it. sometimes, even offline, when i press L2 (PS3) to bring up the keys, they simply wont show up. there wont be an option there. then a few plays later it will show back up. not sure why, just NCAA for you.
