I need help!

Ok I just tried switching to the 4-2-5 playbook and usually I use the 4-3 and I cannot stop the pass. I switched to the 4-2-5 and I could not stop the pass or run. I was just destroyed and I need major help on defense!

I have a few questions...

1.) - Should I learn to master a specific position, for example always use a DE or LB or S?

2.) - Is there a playbook that can stop the pass and run equally on Heisman?

3.) - I think the CPU gets superman abilities on Heisman and I am a run first guy. Am I supposed to sprint when I see an opening because I do that, that being not sprinting as soon as I get the ball but this does nothing at all.

I am going to try the 3-4 and control the DT/NT every play. After I play that game I will tell you guys how I do.

well I use 4-2-5 and 4-3 but I think your best bet would be Multi D and for the specific position I am always the LB for it prevents people passing quick slants at the Middle of the field which works for me. also sometimes play man and blitz

1) do what I do and do not control anyone. Then you can do no wrong except call the wrong play.

3)dont play on heisman...it's just ridiculous. Try All American with sliders to make it harder. There should be some in the sliders area of the forum.

I love the 3-4 and use it exclusively.

I run the 3-3-5, it works better for me and I control the mlb, I tried de and safety but wasn't for me. playing the cpu imo ur bet bet is to run cover 2 man under and match up don't run a base defense against 4 or 5 wrs.

I play offense...but hows that not playing the game? user picks are too easy and it's just cheesy. Playing defense is too easy in general. When all the players on defense are CPU controlled, it's solely based on the player's ratings and the plays I call.
I play the game differently than you play it.
I'd say most NCAA sim players actually do not control anyone. It makes for better games than just doing cheesy user picks and playing perfect defense the whole time.
