Why are all the safeties hard hitters?

i like the hard hitting safeties the ones i recruit have good coverage skills and come up to stop the run...

Its a trend, like the wildcat there are tons of teams with Wild(nickname) formations in their playbooks even though some dont use wildcat offense. Everyone is seeing Taylor Mays light people up on the field and think its awesome. People like athletic tight ends right now its the trend college football is in. Just my opinion of why safeties are hard hitters.

And yeah, I don't even look at tendencies anymore. I got a B speed blocking TE who can't pass block to save his life and a hard hitting safety with a hit power at c-.

Yea man, I have complained about this several times. The only reason I play this dumb game is because I get tired of killing people on CoD5.

but back to the topic, i dont ever go by their tendancies, just look at their stats. i have recruited several hard hitting safeties that have B+ zone coverage.

One hand: it's totally inexcusable. Especially because something like this happens every year. For a long time it was linemen - they were all balanced no matter what....

Other hand: nothing's preventing somebody who likes the game (as a whole) from deciding what the players will be based on their ratings.
