Agreed. Momentum in '07 (last gen version) was a borderline game killer. That edition also introduced
- JTS
- Right thumbstick for kicks (still hate that)
- "3rd Person" close up camera on kick returns.

It is unfortunate, because aside from these 4 things, I would have really liked that game.

I just love the way the game feels on last gen. The momentum and running animations are just so fluid.

NCAA 06 was a blast. You could tone down the deep ball by increasing knockdowns to 99/100 but it was still too easy. My favourite football game on last gen though.

I've done the same thing lately but playing 2004. I loved exporting the draft classes and having Maurice Clarett dominate in Madden. The biggest thing I notice is how you can just put the game in and start playing without changing the sliders, that is impossible to do now with the next-gen games.

I always wondered about this, because my lineman had some crazy high pancake totals in 06. In my cincy dynasty, I'm in 2013, and I've won so many of the best offensive lineman awards so far. I figured I'd be a whole lot farther in that dynasty by now, but the big east is downright terrible which made me put it down. I'm pretty happy with my 04 dynasty right now, because the Pac 10 is a very tough conference to be in especially since my Arizona team is just about average to above average or so right now.
