strategies?

I usually just make all of my time-out/before game strategies "balanced" but was wondering what everyone else does and if there are enough positive effects for me to switch?

thanks

Re: strategies?

I think they do accomplish their desired effect, but when I change anything, it completely messes up the sliders (not the sliders themselves but the gameplay with them) I use so I always just leave them at balanced.

Re: strategies?

I usually start the game with them balanced. If I am having problems running the ball I will change the two that effect the O line to aggressive. On defense, I will sometimes change the D line to aggressive since I never get much of a pass rush. In a close game you may want to make the settings aggressive (on defense, if you're behind late) or conservative (if you have a lead, helps reduce fumbles). As always, you run the risk of penalties.

Re: strategies?

I'm finding a total lack of forced fumbles by my team....most seasons I end up quite negative in TO ratio simply because I recover like 3 fumbles to the CPU's 10 or so. I'm thinking of spending half of each game with either 'strip ball' or 'big hit' on aggressive, just because I can't fix it slider-wise.

Re: strategies?

D-Line = aggressive

Catching = conservative

Big Hits = conservative [says it reduces the missed tackles, not sure]

The rest balanced I believe, not looking at the screen and can't remember

I like the idea of that, but I use hit stick almost every tackle and with this on conservative there are no big hits. I missed about 5 tackles before I realized what was going on lol.
