Re: Playbooks

I love LSU's playbook. Perfect mix of Shotgun, Ace,I-Formation, Strong-I, and even the Pistol.

Another play book I like running is Nevada's. I like running plays out of the Pistol, and Nevada's playbook is perfect for it.

Re: Playbooks

My OD team is running a traditional Nebraska option offense, so I run Air Force's playbook and love it. Lots of I-Form triple options, good Ace sets that incorporate the TEs, a few flexbone for variety, and good shotgun plays that provide TE, FB, and option plays as well a backup passing attack.

For more balance play to that allows you to play to the strengths of your team in any situation, I love LSU or Ohio St PBs. Pro-style, Notre Dame is king. For west coast, USC. Spread, Miss. St or Auburn.

Re: Playbooks

I'm a West Coast offense type of guy, so I like Pittsburgh's - which also has the Wildcat. I like Tennessee's as well, but Pitt's is my favorite.

Re: Playbooks

Are me and the Lobo fan the only Pistol/Nevada happy users?

Re: Playbooks

I really tried liking nevada's pb, but i can't run out of it.

Give me some Iform and i'll run for 150-200 a game, with pistol i always get stuffed by a linebacker blasting through a hole.

Must be the lack of the lead blocker for most running plays.

Also the idiotic blocking from the O-Line. I've seen linemen run upfield to block a safety who's not even in the play, and let the LB/DL run riot in my backfield.

I'm a Pistol/Nevada user as well. It's why I like both LSU's and Nevada's playbooks. They both have the pistol formation.

It's my go to formation on 2 minute drills and I can run the ball fairly well from the Pistol.

Nevada's playbook is just sick as far as the plays that they have from the Pistol.
