recently, i have been a victim of the infamous YLOD. I am getting my new system this week but ALL data is permanently lost...including NCAA Football 2010

Im gonna jump back into a new franchise but I wanna know who has good rosters? All i want is names on the rosters but I dont want the players edited, deleted, added players or anything like that. I want just names of the original rosters. Can someone please help me with a good roster set?

I originally used Gator and BlockO rosters with the numerous errors and made corrections before starting my franchise. I DL'd Tovarich roster but there were too many edits and ratings changed.

Does anyone know why the YLOD happens? I haven't had it happen but I'm wondering if there's something I can do or not do to avoid it. Is it using the system to much for to long periods of time? Is it just eventually gonna happen to all PS3s for no reason? Or does it just happen to some PS3s and not to others? Or what?

It's the same as the RROD for a 360, by my knowledge.

It kind of did. Just without me repeating what has been said.

there's no way to prevent the RROD for a 360. You can do what you're supposed to do to it (well ventilated) but it will still happen if it's going to.
