Re: 20009 vs 2010

well ive bumped down the sliders a ton. interceptions i have at 0 for me and the CPU and awareness i have at 5. i turned up tackling and made it where the O-line was weaker. I have a lot of great games. which i am playing with Houston and i did go 14 and 0 in the 1st season. but i won 5 games by a total of 12pts. i was down one game by 2 scores with 3 mins left. i threw a deep pass to my best receiver and he catches it gets hit loses the ball (ball still in the air) and another one of my guys just happens to run by and catch it and run for a touchdown. I end up on some wack play but is was a lot of fun. Stuff like that happens a good bit. Although i am playing on AA. Next season i will be playing on Heisman. With recruiting i didn't even get one 5 star player. i got 4-4 star and like 16-3 star players. NCAA 10 did a lot of stuff right. but the passing was either a bullet or a bullet. i mean even with a soft touch pass it wasn't like it was in 09. maybe next year i will be back for 2011. but as for now im sticking with 09.

The defense/pass rush on 09 was trash. I would onside kick online just so people couldn't stand and wait on Harvin to streak down the field. At least on '10 I feel like I have a chance on defense. AND as long as the DEs actually get blocked I actually feel like I have a chance on offense too

Re: 20009 vs 2010

I despised 09 but I played it a ton due to OD. The player control allowed you to do way too much with a player. What I mean is you could absolutely turn any player on a dime with no regard for momentum at all. This was way too loose and needed tightened up. Having said that, I do miss the smoothness of controlling certain skill players. I think the speed is more realistic on 10 but controlling WR's and RB's, especially out of the shotgun is a little stiff or mechanical. I liked how they were really fluid on 09.

The D was programmed to be crap on 09 but it is way better on 10. I do feel like it isn't as fun or true to form when running out of the shotgun on 10 but I definitely like the game way more overall.

When you get a special skill player, it's fun to feel how well/fast they move like they did on 09. The problem was that everyone moved too well and the D was dumbed down and couldn't stop anyone.

09 was way too easy. Though that may be because I knew how to rocket catch. I averaged like 8 INTs with Kent State per game Never won a Heisman though, the other users in the OD I was in knew much more techniques.

Re: 20009 vs 2010

I liked 09, had a lot of fun with it, but eventually having to just sim through defense because I didn't enjoy playing D took most of the fun out of the game. So far I find the defense in 10 a ton better and love the game.

I like 10 PS3 alot, but I had 09 on XBox and found it looked alot better. 10 just doesnt look that good, the replays are just plain ugly, especially with no ball rotation. I love the pass rush tho, it blows 09's and Madden 10 away in that department.

10 is better than 09 I think its pretty clear IMO. But they both are huge disappointments. This series should be so much more and it not.

I agree, but I will go one step further... They are both TRASH!! I couldn't stand playing the CPU on 09 and I can't stand playing it on 10. I just super sim till I get to offense because defense is too frustrating. By taking away being able to User anything defense basically makes the CPU offense too strong.

Make ratings mean something EA.
