Mascot Games Gone in 2010
In order to compensate for the additional Oregon uniforms, EA has decided to eliminate the Mascot Games.








One can dream, right?

Eliminating mascot games would take more time than not doing anything. They don't even take up any resources. I don't know why people hate them so much. Just don't play them. Adam Thompson said it took one guy about half a day to add them to the game. If the kids like it then why take it out?

people need something to blame the issues of the game on.

Mascot game is a normal play now game with the football player model swapped with the mascot model. the mascot models are already in the game since they are on the sidelines during normal games. it's mostly just coding, and a different UI for selecting teams. it was originally put in the game because it basically took up no dev time, and it came with a sponsor(coke zero). what developer would pass that up?

taking it out would be a waste of time.

If we really wanted to get rid of them, likely we'd just leave out the menu option when we update the screen.
