I am a big football fan, mainly NFL but with all the hype and press for NCAA 2004 I am wondering if I should purchase this game. I never have been into College games before really but I have fun playing football games such as NFL 2K3 and there series. Would I like this game and why?

If you take the time to look around in this message board, you'd realize why this game is a MUST HAVE. You just have to do your homework.

Yes I've seen things talkinga bout the game but I wanna know since I am not a huge College fan if it could hold my interest, what do you think??

To be honest, I'm not a college football fan by any means either. Come NFL draft time, I have no idea who any of the players are.

However, for me the NCAA series is unequaled (even by Madden) when it comes to console football. Like the poster hinted at earlier, just read about the game, learn more about it and you will realize this game is a gem.

My friend got me to start playing NCAA 2003 last year. I wasn't much of a football fan, or even college football for that matter. But the game DEFINATELY sparked my interest back into college football. I've found a few teams I can always root for, and enjoy doing so in the process.

If I were you I'd ask a friend for a copy of last year's game or go to your local game store and buy a preowned NCAA 03. If you start to like that game, then NCAA 04 is you.

I've been playing the college football games since Bill Walsh's version of it. I last played NCAA 1999 on the PC, but I upgraded last year to a PS2 just to play NCAA 2003. You might not get as much enjoyment out of it if you don't follow the college games, but the gameplay and commentary are done quite well.
