Didn't Ian say that for Madden in order to decrease the ball below a certain percentage all the animations would needed to be redone. I'm sure NCAA is the same way...except NCAA doesn't look like they did anything at all.

I agree the pic in the OP looks ridiculous, but I don't think that NCAA Football is the only series with this issue. I haven't played hockey games in a while, but when I did I always thought the puck was too big and the other day someone posted a vid from NHL 10 and the puck still looked way too big to me. Also, the last time I played a baseball game it was the same thing - it looked like a softball game. Haven't seen the problem with the NBA 2K series, but those others definitely.

You guys wouldn't think so, but changing the ball size would alter every aspect of the game. They would probably have to completely redo the game down to the skeleton frames. That's why they haven't changed it. Like said earlier, laziness, but a lack of time.
