as with most of the rest of you, i pick up a college football preview of some kind. i then:

get to fred meyer by 6:50 am and wait for them to open at 7:00

walk out by 7:05

get some jack-in-the-box breakfast

Re: What is your personal NCAA "ritual"

For NCAA 2005 and 2006 on the XBox, my ritual consisted of playing the game a couple of times and then getting bent over a table by EA after realizing I just wasted another $50.

This one looks promising, however. I'm hopeful that I won't have to assume the position again this year.

Re: What is your personal NCAA "ritual"

My ritual fell apart after graduating and joining the working world but I always used to get it at midnight or first thing in the morning and play one throw away game before doing ISU vs Iowa.

Then it turned in to random exhibitions while I waited on rosters, downloading said rosters, reworking ISU, and then starting a dynasty.

Since joining the working world it has been the same way just over the course of weeks rather than days. Maybe I'll take launch day off this year...

My ritual is actually changing this year. Buy Phil Steele about 2 weeks before the game comes out, then get on YouTube and watch the ESPN College Football Images of the Decade. Then play until my eyes bleed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: What is your personal NCAA "ritual"

Mine is a bit different.

REQUEST DAYS OFF FROM WORK.

I start playing the demo, and with my Dazzle Capture Card, I make highlight videos, and this allows me to watch myself on YouTube and really scout the reads, cutbacks, and better gameplanning (playcalling wise.)

Then, I'll play NCAA 10 on the last 2 days, blow out some people online.

Next, its simple, pick up 11 at Gamestop, play 2 exhibition games
(Louisville vs Another Spread Team.)
(Louisville vs Kentucky)

Get some sleep.
Wake up at 8 AM and hit practice mode.
Play a bunch of Online Games for YouTube.
