As was pointed out to me, the post above is not all-inclusive; the link contains the entire list, and Clarett is there.

Sorry, I did miss Gore. McGahee is debatable as a big name; he's right on the edge for me... could go either way. I'm a Packers fan: Davenport was a career backup. James went undrafted. I repeat: Auburn. 3 starting NFL running backs. Right now.

I dunno man, in 2002 he went for 1753 (6.2 avg) with 28 TDs. That's pretty nasty.

Very true...and hopefully Robert Quinn, Marvin Austin, Tydreke Powell, Quentin Coples, Donte' Paige-Moss and the boys can follow in their footsteps!!!

During the Moeller/Carr era, Michigan had amazing success with QBs and the NFL. You have Elvis Garbac, Todd Collins, Brian Griese, Tom Brady, Drew Henson, John Navarre, and Chad Henne in just the span of two decades. Unfortunately, that's probably going to end in the Rodriguez era as we're finally straying from the pro offense. Not saying we wont produce NFL QBs anymore, but nowhere near the rate Carr had.

We've also had great history in the offensive line, as well as defensive back.

USC is quietly putting together a LB pipeline lead by the great Junior Seau followed by guys like Willie McGhenest, Rivers, Ray M., Cushing, Matthews Jr. it has become an honor to now wear #55 at USC.

It's a few years old but

MSU definitely has a case for WR U though.

Herschel, Moreno, TD, Rodney Hampton, Garrison Hearst, hopefully Ealey and King next. Georgia could be considered TailBack U.
