You know Jake Locker doesn't even have 10 wins in his entire CAREER, right?

How is that relevent to his rating? You do realize it takes 22+ players to win a football game

And you realize that had he left early, he would have been the #1 overall pick in April? A school's record has nothing to do with how good an individual is. He is an amazing QB. He hasn't won more than 10 games because of an injury. And the fact that UDub hasn't had good linemen, running backs, or receivers.

BJ Daniels the athlete might be a 86, but the BJ Daniels the QB would be lucky to push 80.

Jamarcus Russell called and said NFL draft position means absolutely dick. The guy hasn't even finished in the top of his own conference in passer rating in yet. People need to stop listening to Mel Kiper when they rate players...maybe we wouldn't have Taylor Mays rated 99 OVR when he clearly didn't need to be more than 92.

You want me to post his statistics? It's not going to get any better for him. His rating was worse than Matt Barkley's last season. He threw the second most interceptions in the conference last year (that's with the Pac 10 fielding a couple of winners like Marshall Lobbestael, Danny Sullivan, and Kevin Prince. His career completions percentage is 53.3%. That's awful for a rookie in the NFL. And it's not like it was just a crappy frosh year pulling him down. He was only 58% last season. Sorry, but there's only so many times you can sit there and point out how bad a guys team sucks before you realize that this guy not only plays on the team, but LEADS the team. And then there's his 8-20 career record as a starter. Shameful, absolutely shameful.

Don't worry if they truly utilize the stretch ratings this year like they did in Madden it's gonna be some very upset posters on here after release day.

With the stretch ratings you'll be hard pressed to find a bunch 90 rated overall players at every position especially QB. The ratings are gonna reduce down so much I gurantee you these boards will be ready to crucify EA when their favorite players aren't 99 overall's anymore.

It should make for some fun reading when the high or mid 80's overall is the norm for what people consider elite players right now.

I saw this coming last year. Hype = high ratings in this game.
