Defense is lacking hardcore. The only way to get D-Line pressure is by sort of cheating. You have to manually mess with it. It's dumb.
Ya an i hate that! Even more when your team has a really good DE an he cant do crap against even weaker teams. Idk about you but i love a low scoring game an having to earn your TD's. Thats me though im sure most people just want scoring to be easy

Re: Offensive pass blocking

Scoring brings excitement. Excitement sells games.

I love how they took a step back on defense this year too.

They said they're "tuning back the hit stick" so that you can't just point and hit, you have to line it up.

In other words: more whiffs and more scoring on offense.

Super.

To you it does i guess, scores being 50-45 are not fun. Thats like saying i hope i get the ball last because that means ill win lol. How is it fun knowing your gonna score every drive it gets old fast.

By manually mess with it, do you mean sliders? Did they work in 10?

No I meant manually control the D-Line and crash them a direction every play, shift them a direction every play, and pinch the DT and DE together on one side every play. That was the only way I could get moderate success on D-Line.

It's just not natural though, and if I have to mess with it that much to get a couple sacks then the game has issues.

That's funny because in older versions, I felt like any defenisve lineman, even bums going against my All-American left tackle would just blow right by them, especially with that jump the snap fiasco.

Re: Offensive pass blocking

Impotent DL play is a borderline game killer for me. Can't wait to see what the demo discloses.
