Re: Offensive Styles

Last Gen I ran the option because it was fun as hell.

This Gen, I like to run a pro style offense. Like most of the rest of you I would recruit a freshman, redshirt him then for his redshirt freshman year I would sit him, giving him mop up duty. the next year, I would look at his accuracy rating, take him into to practice and see how did. If I liked it, he would start. If not back to mop up duty.

This year, as Notre Dame I will be running Brian Kelly's offense. Can't wait for a true No-Huddle!!!

I really play with just about everything. My staple is the hurry up. Regardless of what style I'm playing, I'm using hurry-up a solid 50-60% of the time.

Re: Offensive Styles

I like using the wishbone offense a lot. When I play on my dynasty, I always use the wishbone to run the defense ragged. Every once in a while though I love the shotgun oriented plays that keep the defense spread, but I absolutely love the flex and wish bone schemes.

Re: Offensive Styles

I prefer a smashmouth offense like the I. I like using the power running game to set up the pass

Re: Offensive Styles

I play from under center most of the time. I like having a power running game and using short, quick passes. Alabama will be the best this year!

Re: Offensive Styles

For the most part I love running a 2 back system. So I would run a I formation more then anything. Plus I love running some shotgun spread offense aswell.

Same for me. I like to institute a power running game, mixing in short passes, screen passes, and passes to the TE. I avoid the shotgun, mostly because it's been impossible for me to run out of any shotgun formation. It looks like they really worked on it this year, so maybe I'll give it a shot.
