Half Tackles

Thank goodness. Now my team leader in total tackles will no longer be 50 or so. Its going to be a great year IMO. I hope they add "catches allowed" stat to DB's. I remember they had this in madden (last gen).

It really won't change much, last year both players received 1 tackle if they combined on a play.

I just tried an exhibition game and my DT and MLB both got in the tackle in which it was accredited to the DT (the first one in on the play). I think palo might have been thinking of madden or something.

When I played and tested it, it was the last person to touch the carrier that got the tackle. For example if the MLB grabs onto the FB and is about to take him down, and the SS comes and helps out, the SS would get the tackle.

It really won't matter if they do them like Madden. I don't feel like repeating myself soooo, from the Dynasty blog 3 thread:

So as you can see, they have asst tackles, but they don't add them to your total. That's how Madden does it and I know NCAA tends to take Madden's leftovers from the previous year so that may be how NCAA does it as well. If it's the same as Madden 10, the asst tackles won't be added to the total in NCAA 11 as well. They'll have their own category.
