Pretty exciting news! Also, for all you PS3 players (like myself) the release date of the demo has been moved to Monday the 14th, the same day as the 360 release.

I guess it'll be SMU vs. Texas Tech, if they continue with match-ups for this year's real life season. Run & Shoot vs Air Raid.

Keep this in mind: using 8 teams isn't just about showing off the different offensive styles, it's also about showing off the pregame traditions. So it wouldn't surprise me at all if you saw, for example, Michigan vs. Notre Dame. Both have unique offenses AND pregame traditions.

Personally, I'd love to see these and I think they're all real possibilities:

Nebraska vs. Texas (at Cowboys Stadium would be awesome)
Florida vs. Alabama
Oregon vs. USC
